The prices listed above are an average price per night for that particular stay. Across the board, Expedia seemed to have the best package deals. But there you also might check Hotwire, Priceline, Travelocity, Orbitz and Hotels.com.
(Remember on Priceline and Hotwire you can’t choose your airline or hotel.)

Before you book, remember. . .

The closer you are to the beach, the more you are probably going to pay.

If you have an ocean view, you will probably pay more also.

Some rooms have full kitchenettes--almost all have a fridge.

June is HOT so make sure the room is air conditioned. Many of the hotels listed above have balconies or ‘lanais’. Nice feature, regardless of the view.

If you plan to rent a car, be sure to check into parking costs at your hotel before booking. Parking at some hotels in Waikiki can be pricey. The average cost of parking is $10/day.

Everything in Waikiki is within walking distance, so don’t be concerned if your hotel is 4 blocks away from the beach. No worries.

You won't go hungry. Waikiki is loaded with restaurants, from pizza joints to some of the top restaurants in the world. And don't forget the shopping. . .

Just like Las Vegas--there are always deals to get here. Check your Sunday paper and with your local travel agents. . .
